Information We Collect
We collect the minimum required to operate Qudoro:
- Account details — name, email address, and avatar (when you sign up)
- Study data — question sets, notes, session history, and progress (stored locally on your device; only synced if you publish to the marketplace)
- Usage diagnostics — basic crash reports and performance data to improve app reliability
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Operate Qudoro features — question banks, flashcards, exam simulation, and the marketplace
- Secure your account and protect against unauthorized access
- Respond to support requests
- Improve study experience and app performance
Local-First Storage
Qudoro is designed as an offline-first desktop app. Your question banks and study sessions are stored in IndexedDB on your device, encrypted at rest. Data is only transmitted to our servers when you explicitly use cloud features (marketplace publishing, account sync).
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers required to operate Qudoro — this includes hosting (Supabase), authentication, and diagnostics. These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
If you publish sets to the marketplace, your display name, country, and avatar will be visible to other users alongside your published content.
Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted local storage (IndexedDB with encryption)
- Row-Level Security (RLS) enforced at the Supabase database layer
- Authentication controls with email confirmation
- Restricted internal data access
Your Rights & Choices
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us. Because your study data is stored locally, you can also delete it directly from within the app.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the service changes. Significant changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
